                                              Who am I?

I live in Northampton, the Rose of the Shires in central England.  Originally from Birmingham in the West Midlands, I moved to Northampton in 2001 for a six-week Computer Design work contract which quickly turned into permanent job.  5 years later when that job ended, I had settled enough to stay.  I live with my fiancé Adam, our Cocker Spaniel Bruno, Amber and Deeley the Bengal cats and our tropical fish (mostly un-named!).

I work full time as a Creative Artist / 3D Modeller in a State of the Art 3D Technology centre, here I create 3D models and Animations for use with virtual interactive experiences, it's a fantastic and varied job!  In fact, most of the 3D images on this website were created by me (on my lunchbreaks, honest!!).

During my spare time I am creative!  I love to draw, paint, sculpt, cast.... I enjoy anything that allows me to express my creativity, but I am always drawn to living creatures, in particular the horse.  I am certainly not a natural horse-woman, but there is something about the way they move, their history alongside man, their immense strength yet gentle nature that fascinates me and keeps me trying to translate that beauty into mere objects.

Through collecting and sculpting I have met some amazing people, my life has changed in so many ways and I have been given opportunities I had never dreamt I might have.

I only aim to leave my small (mouse-shaped) mark on the world, in the hopes that one day it will make someone, somewhere smile.

                                              About my work

On most of my pieces you will find my trademark, either in the form of the Mouse logo pictured above or in the form of a teeny tiny mouse sculpted on the model itself.

I'd love to say my trademark came about because I am small and delicate and quiet as a little mouse, but no, it came about in 1981 when I was 3 years old and I refused to eat anything other than cheese!  In my teens I invented a little squiggle that became my mark and it appears on most drawings and models I've done ever since.

The mouse sculpted amongst the rocks and flowers on the base for Very Little One. The point of the pen shows how tiny this mouse is, measuring about 5mm across.
